MJ and I had a wonder trip in Medellin Colombia this past June; we were truly blessed. There was a total of 29 people from different churches that were also blessed, as The Lord moved in a powerful way.
I was asked to teach and minister deliverance as well as a teaching on walking in the anointing.
Acts 10:38 "You know of Jesus of Nazareth, how God anointed Him with the Holy Spirit and with power, and how He went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.
Jesus is our example as we see in the book of Acts how He, being the Son of God, was anointed to do His Father’s work. How much more to we need to walk in the anointing of the Holy Spirit.
1 John 2:20 But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you all know.
1 John 2:27 As for you, the anointing which you received from Him abides in you, and you have no need for anyone to teach you; but as His anointing teaches you about all things, and is true and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you abide in Him.
The word tells us about the anointing, but we need to be careful not to dismiss those who have the gift of teaching. What we need today is anointed teachers.
We experienced the anointing as we ministered on the streets of Medellin, and different church services where we were asked to pray for people. In one occasion during a time of prayer, MJ and I prayed for a lady who had cataracts. We asked the Holy Spirit to heal her. She could read her bible very clearly; she said that the spots she saw once before are no longer there.
In the streets were crack cocaine is prevalent, I prayed for a man for his fever that he was suffering from. As I put my hands on him he fell over by the power of the Holy Spirit and then got up and said “I’m so embarrassed with Go, I need a change in my life”. The Holy Spirited convicted him.
We can’t thank you enough for your prayers while we on this trip. There is so much witchcraft where we were at, you could feel that trying to come against you. Every Christian needs to know his or her identity so we can truly walk out Luke 10:19-20.
Luke 10:19-20 "Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing will injure you. "Nevertheless do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rejoice that your names are recorded in heaven."
