Our Statement of Faith

We Believe the scriptures, both Old and New Testaments, to be the plenary, verbally inspired Word of God, infallible, God-breathed, and inerrant as originally given.

We Believe in one God, Creator of all things, infinitely perfect and eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

We Believe in God the Father who is Spirit and Truth.

We Believe in Jesus Christ, true God and true Man, who was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. He died on the cross for our sins according to the scriptures. He arose from the dead and ascended into heaven where He is seated at the right hand of the Father. He is now our advocate and High Priest, & indwells the believer. He will return to judge the living and the dead.

We Believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live holy and minister super-naturally. The baptism of the Holy Spirit with evidence of speaking in tongues according to Acts 1:4-8 and 2:4 is poured out on believers that they might have power to be witnesses.

We believe that just as the word of God is living and active today, so is the Holy Spirit as are the gifts of the Holy Spirit.

We Believe that man was created in the image of God; chose to sin and is therefore spiritually dead. Only through regeneration by the Holy Spirit can he obtain salvation and spiritual life.

We Believe that salvation is the gift of God received by the repentance of personal sin, and faith in the shed blood of Jesus Christ and His resurrection.

We Believe that all the redeemed are secure in Christ forever.

We Believe in the believer’s baptism by immersion.

We Believe that the Lord’s Supper is for the commemoration of the Lord’s death.

We Believe that it is appointed unto man once to die and after this judgement will occur.
